Today a huge breakthrough has been achieved for the Cypress Villages subdivision, located between Fairfield and Maharishi Vedic City, in Jefferson County, Iowa. Over the past month, the Jefferson County Board of Supervisors have listened to presentations by all parties with an interest, including the Fairfield Airport and neighboring farmers, the Iowa DOT Division of Aviation and the Cypress Villages Development Team.

Cypress Villages Update, May 15, 2007

Dear All:
The Cypress Villages project continues to make progress each day. This last week, we participated in the community wide yagya for Peace and success in all walks of life. A photograph of our CV staff was sent to Maharishi along with a letter of appreciation for the opportunity to contribute to Raam Raj.
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending a Muhurt celebration for friends of mine who were moving into their new MSV home. It was a very blissful, powerful experience, and one which we can all look forward to recreating 208 times at Cypress Villages very quickly!

Cypress Villages Update, March 21, 2007

Hello Everyone!
The biggest news of the week is that we have begun work on Jefferson County approval as an unincorporated subdivision. Cypress Villages work is being professionally managed at all levels. As such, we are already doing almost everything the county would require for subdivision approval, so it is a natural step for us to apply.
By subdividing, we will be able to provide clear title to each building lot. We know that the Leased lot option was controversial for many of you. Now we have a clear direction, and we look forward to the progress that will accompany this decision.

* Martha Norbeck: Green design consultant and Design Coordinator
* Don Sherbondy: Architect
* Brad Jennings: Estimator
* Jim Masterson: Estimator
