July 3rd Update - Great News!

Dear All,

Today a huge breakthrough has been achieved for the Cypress Villages subdivision, located between Fairfield and Maharishi Vedic City, in Jefferson County, Iowa. Over the past month, the Jefferson County Board of Supervisors have listened to presentations by all parties with an interest, including the Fairfield Airport and neighboring farmers, the Iowa DOT Division of Aviation and the Cypress Villages Development Team.

Our engineers, designer, architect and financial group have demonstrated that we have complied with all aspects of the Jefferson County Subdivision Ordinance to this stage; further, we have the full support of Maharishi Vedic City (the entity with Extraterritorial Jurisdiction for this property); and further that we have made every effort to comply with and conform to the wishes of the neighboring farmers and the Airport. So, we are glad to inform you that the Cypress Villages application has received Preliminary Subdivision Approval.

Now we can go forward quickly and assuredly. To achieve Final Subdivision Approval and transfer lots and build, we need to demonstrate our final engineering and financing for infrastructure and survey work. That means everyone who has desired to build here needs to decide if this is the place and time, and take the necessary steps.

This is a tremendous relief for all of us, and we thank everyone.

In honor of this date, we're enclosing a photo of the newest member of the Fairfield team, Andrew Pietro Wells, and his proud parents, Angela and Roland :)
