A short bicycle ride away from Cypress Villages is Maharishi University of Management, a fully accredited, alternative university with the country’s first degree programs in sustainable living. 

Founded in 1974, Maharishi University of Management offers a complete array of traditional courses in the arts, sciences, business and the humanities, along with courses in meditation, yoga and environmentally responsible agriculture. Cypress Villages is proud to offer internship programs through the university.
